Air India Passenger Dies of Cardiac Arrest
An Air India flight made an emergency landing at New Delhi Sunday afternoon after a passenger became ill and later died.
Air India Flight 430, flying from Chennai to New Delhi, requested emergency priority clearance to land when 50 year-old Jaswanth Singh complained of uneasiness. A doctor onboard tended to him and alerted the pilots.
Authorities rushed the man to a hospital at the airport immediately after landing where he was pronounced dead.
Officials said the passenger died of cardiac arrest.
