American Airlines Plane Evacuated in Trinidad Due to Mystery Package

An American Airlines plane preparing to depart for Miami was evacuated in Trinidad Thursday due an anonymous call about a mysterious package on board.
American Airlines says the plane at Piarco International Airport was taxing Thursday morning when it returned to the gate for inspection. Caribbean Airline chairman Rabindra Moonan said authorities searched the plane but found nothing.
American Airlines says the flight finally left for Miami five hours after its scheduled departure.
There were 181 passengers on board the flight.
