
American Eagle Flight 2505 Emergency Landing at Amarillo, Gear Issue

An American Eagle CRJ-200 flying from Dallas Forth Worth International Airport (KDFW/DFW) to Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (KAMA/AMA) declared an emergency but landed with no problems.
‘American Airlines Flight 2505 departed from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at 9:45 a.m. and landed in Amarillo at 11 a.m., flight records show. The next flight scheduled for the jet would take place on another aircraft, Rhodes said.’
While on approach the crew received a warning that there might be a problem with one of its landing gears and the crew declared an emergency. The plane landed with no incident however and was able to clear the runway.
