Delta 767 Returns to London Due to Windshield Issue
A Delta Airlines Boeing 767 flying from London to Seattle had to turn back due to an issue with the plane’s windshield.
KIRO TV reports:
‘Delta Airlines officials told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News that the crew of the Boeing 767 aircraft experienced a strange sound coming from the windshield and decided to head back.
The flight was traveling to Minneapolis with a connecting flight to Sea-Tac Airport.
When the plane landed, the passengers were put on another aircraft and that flight has since departed.The flight was scheduled to land in Minneapolis at 3:40 p.m., but it is now scheduled to arrive at 10 p.m.’
Delta Airlines officials said the connecting flight to Seattle is still scheduled to arrive at Sea-Tac Airport at 6:51 p.m., but passengers on the plane from London will miss it.
