A United Airlines regional jet made an emergency landing at Burlington International Airport (BVT) late Wednesday when pilots detected troubles with the plane’s flaps. United Flight 5719, a Bombardier CRJ-200, made a safe landing at 7:15 PM. Firetrucks escorted the plane to its gate. No injuries were reported. The flight originated at Washington Dulles (IAD).
