The World of Aviation and Plane Spotting Suffers a Loss

I sadly have to report that Matt Molnar, Editor of the popular nycaviation.com, has passed away.

He was 33 years old.

I never met Matt, but nycaviation.com was one of the first websites I read dedicated to aviation and plane spotting. I always read Matt’s articles and posts with keen interest and looked forward to one day meeting him and the rest of the staff there.

My main reason for this post is a memorial fund has been set up for the cost of his passing and medical expenses.
