Two United Airlines planes scraped wings at Dulles International Airport on Thursday afternoon.

United Flight 951 that had landed from Brussels scraped its wingtip on the wingtip of another United Airlines plane, that was already parked at the ‘C’ gate at Dulles.

There were no injuries reported.

United issued a statement:

Upon arriving at the gate at Washington Dulles today, the wingtip from United flight 951 from Brussels made contact with the wingtip of a second United aircraft parked at an adjacent gate. The passengers and crew deplaned the Brussels flight. There were no passengers onboard the parked aircraft. Our maintenance team is evaluating both aircraft to determine any damage.

The FAA has been notified of the incident.
