US Airways Regional Jet Makes Emergency Landing at Greenville-Spartanburg

Airnation.net Newswire
A US Airways jet made an emergency landing at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in South Carolina Friday afternoon due to a smoke detector alarm.
‘The U.S. Airways Express plane was in route to Charlotte from Alabama when it had to land.
We’re being told a smoke detector alarm sounded, so as a precaution, the plane made that emergency landing in the upstate. There was no fire, and none of the 39 passengers onboard were injured.
Most of those passengers took a bus to finish their trip to Charlotte.’
